DISSECTION
Starting from the word “nature”, the first thing i’ve thought about was the food. First of all i made a huge research on contemporary artists based on representation of a table, of fruit, of vegetables and still life objects. I started to think about the shape I would like to obtain, just dissectioning fruit. The idea was to create something modular, almost industrial, as moodboards inspired me. I’ve decontextualised the concept from the fruit or from something biodegradable to arrive to the most abstract figure, almost untouchable, absent.
