UNTITLED

The reason why I chose to give this title to the project is to make sure that the viewer cannot let himself be shaped by the title, so he cannot give it a meaning. I want this project to lead the viewer to travel in his imagination, to feel emotions and personal feelings, given only by what he sees, what he feels and what he touches.

WORKING PROCESS

I started thinking about the best way I have to express a feeling, so that we can feel an emotion from the outside using our senses.

JUST A TOOL: MY HANDS

Everything leads to a sensation. It is not the finished product but the process with which it is carried out is the important thing.
Just a tool: my hands.

DRAPING PROCESS

Starting from a specific draping technique I developed my idea, in which minimal meets chaos, tailoring becomes oversized.

FINAL PRODUCT

For the final garment, I decided to use different fabrics with different skin tones and a poppy red in the seams.
As the shapes represent my way of being, the beige of the materials represent my skin layers. As seams pass through the fabric as the blood flows through the whole body. The bright red are wounds, which are still open.
